Вчера в очередном походе на "блошку" нашел интересное издание:

Condition. The book is in Very Good condition. A small light damp stain
(ca 1 in) is visible in the bottom spine side corner of the front and back
covers and shows on the first and last 10 pages. Aside from that the pages are
fault free with bright vivid colors. Cloth covered spin in perfect condition
which is unusual for this book. The outside covers have wrinkling/curling along
the edges. Overall an excellent copy of this book. The folding case is in poor
condition. Clasps are missing, light overall fading. The spine of the case is
darkened and reinforced with clear tape.

Karl Florenz by A. Lloyd, M.A., illustrated and printed by T.
Hasegawa, Tokyo (38 Honmura, Yotsuya), 1896, large 12 mo, large format for a
Hasegawa book, (5 3/4 x 7 1/2 in - 14.5 x 19.2 cm), crepe paper, with silk
thread tied binding, Japanese style folded leaves, 98 numbered pages. This book
is a translation of the German language book titled Dichtgrusse aus dem
Osten, Japanishce Dichtungen by K. Florenz and published by T. Hasegawa
in 1894. With the illustrated cardboard folding case with ivory ties.

Contains color woodblock prints produced the artists Shoso (Mishima
Yunosuke), Kwason (Suzuki Sotaro), Yoshimune (Arai Shujiro) and Sadahiko (Yeda
Masajiro). Illustrated front and back covers, title page and copyright notice. A
total of 56 folded leaves comprising 102 pages (including the covers) of which
98 are numbered.

This is one of two books Reverend Arthur Lloyd prepared for T. Hasegawa. The
other one was White Aster which was published in 1897. That book
was a translation of Weissaster by Florenz.

Illustrations. Most, but not all, Hasegawa books are have color woodblock
illustrations imprinted on double folded crepe type paper.

От себя добавлю - книга дивной красоты и то, что стоит она (как выяснилось) приличных денег, только добавляет ей дополнительную привлекательность.:)

я представляю как это приятно:)) особенно учитывая, что я вообще неравнодушна к японскому искусству:)) Я тут у нас в магазине заприметила роскошное издание (современное конечно) японских гравюр - оформлено просто безумно, но и стоит соответствено. Предмет вожделения в общем:))

И что - рискнете обзавестить сим шедевром?

Я бы купил увиденное вами издание - как и вы, люблю японское искусство. Свою книгу продавать не буду, мне ее приятней видеть у себя не в денежном эквиваленте.:)

я увиденное мной издание наверное тоже куплю, но попозже. Надеюсь желающих за такю цену на него не найдется:))

Английское издание - репринт с первого немецкого оценивается в 200 евро. А мое первое издание -совместное японо-германское производство с использованием шелкографии стоит раза в два больше (как минимум). Ищу цены в интернете...

простите вопрос немного может устарел, но для меня он насущный
вы не подскажете как узнать какого года издания книга и кто ее издал
где посмотреть, на какой странице?

пс/ книгу вы купили?)
