Я тоже, как и afirsov, удивился некоторыми фотками. Часть из них мне показались сильно отличающимися от других по качеству и постановке кадра. И тут я вспомнил, что совсем недавно перебирал "склад" слайдов моего покойного дядюшки - большого любителя этого вида фоток, особенно популярного в 60-70-х. И там среди его слайдов оказался набор из 20-30 слайдов под общим названием "Город-герой Москва". Так вот добрая половина из представленных фоток "американки" (как раз тех, которые впечатляют постановкой кадра) из этого набора. На слайдах обозначен и копирайт !Агентство печати Новости", а тираж исполнен в Ленинграде на заводе "Фотоприбор". Думаю, что такие наборчики можно было купить тогда в любом киоске Союзпечати за рубль. Если "американка" действительно и была в СССР в 1968 году, то ей как интуристу могли втюхать этот наборчик на Красной Площади раз в 100 подороже
Кстати, вполне возможно, тот же Калининский в Москве в 68 году не строился давно, а был полностью готов, да и кадр такой можно снять только из строившегося здания телеграфа, куда бы никого, кроме строителей и не пустили. Второй аргумент ЗА союзпечатевское происхождение части кадров - цветА, точнее, выцветание плёнки. Обратимая пленка из США, отснятая в 60 годах, имеет обалденную цветопередачу просто. А вот советская как раз тем и отличалась, что мы видим на картинках. Зелёный слой практически исчез.

В своей фотогалерее американка объясняла разницу в качестве снимков:
In those days the only way most people could visit the USSR was on an Intourist tour. Marjorie's tour consisted of people from York University. The tours were big on cultural stuff and short on meeting actual Russian people. Marjorie did persuade the Intourist people to let her visit the Moscow Public Library for professional interest (of which there is one photo). The Russians had figured out capitalism as far as not letting people take pictures in museums so they would have to buy the souvenir slide pack. Unfortunately those Russian slides have faded to such an extent that it is hard to get colour out of them. They naturally look much on the reddish side. Some of them I have managed to correct somewhat using a combination of the color tools in Irfanview and Picnik. Others there is not much you can do; there is not much colour left in the original slide after 40 years. Marjorie's own pictures, on the other hand, look like they were taken yesterday. I assume they were Kodachrome.
